NEW CKPOTTERY 2019
CEDAR KEY LIBRARY LECTURE SERIES
March 23, 2021
Our 2021 Cedar Key Library Lecture Series draws to a close this week with two exciting presentations!

On Thursday, March 25th at 5 pm, annual Cedar Key visitor Susan Kadar will share her experiences and memories of growing up during the Hungarian Nazi regime and German occupation and her life under Stalin's tyranny following WWII.

On Saturday, March 27th at 10:30 am, UF anthropologist Dr. Ken Sassaman will update us on his latest project recreating the history of the devastated town on Atsena Otie Key that was destroyed by a hurricane in 1896. Using digital technology, Sassaman and his team hope to make the island's history interactive with a reality version of the town.

Both events will take place at the Cedar Key Community Center at 809 6th Street. Social distancing is observed and masks are required to enter.
