Free stuff to do.


Saturday 3 March 5 p.m. - Reception for the Open Community exhibit "Salute to Wildlife" of the Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges and Ann Kamzelski`s photography.
Sunday 4 March 3 P.M. - Salon - Come out for a discussion on composition. We will use the current exhibit as demonstration. You are also welcome and encouraged to bring in your own work to share.
Each Wed morning the Boat Builders meet at 9.

Also on Wed mornings, Chris Harkness is in the photo lab. The next few sessions Chris will be teaching pinhole camera techniques.
13 March - 7pm - Photoshop Elements class is open to anyone. Ann Kamzelski will talk about her images that will be hanging in the Member`s Gallery and show some of the techniques used to create them. Ann`s number 352 543 9660


Fri 16 March join the group for open studio about 10ish until we get tired. Open to all media. Bring whatever you are working on to share expertise and camaraderie.

Fee based classes


March 7th - April 4th
You are invited to join Henry Gernhardt, master craftsman for a 3 hour class every Wednesday from 5 pm-8 pm. This will include basic and intermediate handbuilding and coils, and slabs, using clay. You will complete your project, glaze and fire. The class fee is $150 with a lab fee of $25 for materials, including clay, firing and glazes. Call Henry at 543-9165 to register.

12 March from 1-4 pm
Remake, Repair, Redesign Costume Jewelry
A beginners class for basics of altering, redesigning, or replacing broken parts of costume necklaces, bracelets, or earrings. Please bring pieces of costume jewelry you wish to repair or remake. Replacement and additional parts will be provided. Tools needed (if you have) small needle-nose pliers. (We will have extras available.) 19 and 20 March Joyce Patti is having her second Pen and Ink class. Fee is $33 for members and $38 for nonmembers. Call her at 352 543 8081 or 352 949 8071.

Ann Kamzelski has extended her Photoshop elements class through 27 March when she will show how to change images to black and white, how to add a watermark, and will work on editing images brought to class. The fee is $20 for members - $25 for nommembers. Ann`s number 352 543 9660

2 & 3 April - Create altered books with Lois Benninghoff. Fee is $22 for members and $28 for nonmembers. Call Lois at 352 543 0254
