The Cedar Key Public Library is pleased to announce that popular Florida author Tim Dorsey will visit the library on Thursday, September 26 at 5 pm to meet with fans and talk about his long career as a writer. His talk titled "Florida: a target-rich environment for writers" promises to be entertaining to all.

When a patron comes into the library and says, "I'm looking for something to read to get my mind off of (name any general life stress issue)," we generally recommend they pick up a Tim Dorsey novel. These books are hilariously plotted, laugh-out-loud funny and genuinely entertaining, with some Florida folklore thrown in for good measure.

The Cedar Key Friends of the Library, sponsor of library programs, will have cold beverages snacks available at the event, which is open to all. Please join us!
