Cedar Key, the USDA Rural Community of the Year

Cedar Key, on February 3, held a celebration of being named USDA Rural Community of the Year. A luncheon attended by ninety officals and community dignitaries preceeded presentation of the award. The luncheon was provided by nine Cedar Key businesses. Five Cedar Key service clubs served food, drinks and porvided deserts.

The members of the Cedar Key School FFA Jr. opened the ceremony with a demonstration of parilimentary skills.
