Custom jewelry by Rick Lombardo is featured at Golden Impressions, the new shop that just opened at Cedar Key`s 451 Dock Street. Rick and his wife Heather, a Cedar Key native, are owners of the shop. Art by local artists and ceramics round out the line of merchandise. Paintings of marine scenes by Bill Roberts and mosaics by Chuck McDonell are noteworthy.

The jewelry is exclusively based in gold or silver. Precious stones are a part of most pieces. Rick is a goldsmith and a silversmith who does lost wax casting. The jewelry pieces are displayed on coral and natural stone objects that are in themselves works of art. Rick has been in the business for twenty-seven years, having had a shop previously in Dade City, Florida.

An unusual aspect of the shop is that Rick also makes custom rods and reels, as well as doing repair work. Furthermore, he also buys and sells gold, silver and precious stones. A Grand Opening is planned for February 13, in time for last minute Valentine`s Day shoppers.
