Obituary

David W. Worth age 74 of Cedar Key, FL passed away on September 24, 2009.

He was born on September 18, 1935 in Neptune, NJ to Charles and Louise Worth. He moved to Cedar Key, FL 22 years ago from New Jersey. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Key. He worked as a contractor for many years. He loved to golf and was a member of the Chiefland Golf and Country Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and building furniture, along with traveling. He even went to Norway a couple of times. Also he enjoyed skiing and camping. He was an owner and operator of a Christmas tree farm in Tabernacle, NJ, along with a sod farm, and was a produce broker.

He is survived by his wife Ingebord Worth, sons David Worth, IL; Bruce Worth, NJ; Mark Worth, NE; step-son William Noble, PA; daughters Lois Worth, NJ; Marie McCarty, NC; step-daughters Norlene Konewal, NJ; Margaret Ann McDonough, PA; brother Charles Worth, PA; sisters Lois Carbone, PA; Dorothy Rollo, NJ; Sara Lee Blodgett, NJ; 10 grandchildren 5 step-grandchildren and 2 great-great step grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on September 26, 2009 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Cedar Key, FL with Reverend Carl Reichert officiating. The family asks that in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Lung Association at American Lung Association National Headquarters 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800.
