The New Year will be here before you know it! The Cedar Key Arts Center has a wonderful gallery exhibit to start the year off right. The Main Gallery will feature Acrylic Artist Donna Leeward. Some may know Donna as Bill Robert’s daughter. Donna’s show “Florida Highways and Byways will showcase some of Florida in Donna’s amazing style.
In the Members Gallery Deb Bloomberg- Mann, will offer a look at the “Glass of the Sea”. Deb creates fused glass artwork with her own level of humor and quirk.
Both Galleries will open on Saturday, January 6, with an opening reception from 5pm to 7pm. The Galleries are located upstairs from the Keyhole Artists co-op, 457 2nd Street in Cedar Key. Both galleries are open daily 10 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week.
Just a reminder to all artists, applications for submissions for the February Open Show, ‘Feathered Friends” are now available. This show opens Feb 3 through Feb 19. Applications may be found on the website www.cedarkeyartscenter.org or in the gallery.
