Andrew “Andy” Pearson, 21 of Cedar Key, passed away on October9, 2015, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Andy was born on October 14, 1993, in Gainesville, Florida, and had recently moved to Cedar Key from Chiefland.  His goals were to join the US Military.  He always wanted to be a firefighter and he volunteered for the Chiefland Fire Services.   Andy was passionate about his grandmother, who recently passed away, and his fellow brothers and sisters of the Fire Department.  OCT 13 PEARSON PIC Pearson

Mr. Pearson enjoyed the outdoors, boating, and being an artist who loved to draw fire trucks and engines.  He enjoyed the Florida Gators, loved animals, and his family brought the most enjoyment to his life.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy Kerr of Canon City, Colorado, stepdad Chris Kerr, of Crestview, Florida, his father, Robin Russell of Gainesville, Florida, two sisters Destanie Heslar  of Canon City, Colorado, and Olivia Arce of Sarasota, Florida, a niece, De’Launie and a nephew, Deodrick, both of Canon City, his grandfather, Jimmie Sansbury of Canon City, Colorado, a great grandmother, Bessie Henry of Navarre, Florida, many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be on Friday, October 16, 2015, from 5-6 pm and a funeral service will follow at 6 pm at Langford-Rogers Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
