Thanks to the Cedar Key City Commission and its Public Works Department, the three palms were transported from Airport Road, where the temporary new bridge is being built,  to the Cemetery Point Park last week. The trees were located on private property and would have been destroyed due the path of the new temporary bridge and connecting road. The Egret's Pass Homeowners Association offered the three Sabal Palms to the City and they were then relocated by the Publics Works Department to Cemetery Point Park.
