In one of its shortest meetings, the Cedar Key Water and Sewer District commissioners met briefly at 5 pm at the district offices on Third Street on January 22, 2024, to discuss general manager applicants. The meeting adjourned at 5:27 pm.
The commissioners agreed to:
• Interview one candidate, who had previously met with Superintendent and current General Manager James McCain, on January 29 at 4 pm;
• Interview a second candidate to meet with McCain and tour the facilities at 2 pm and interview with the commissioners at 3:15 p.m. on January 29;
• Complete reference gathering before these interviews take place.
