SHARK mage004

January 22, 2018

CKS wrapped up Spirit Week 2018 with an evening of homecoming games and the Sharks won two of the four contests.

The boys team won a close one, defeating Branford 61-59 in the final moments of the game. Branford downed the Lady Sharks 56-29.

During halftime, the 2018 Homecoming Court was recognized and the 2018 royalty crowned. Congratulations to Prince Tyler Wynans, Princess Hadley Williams, King Grayson Yearty, and Queen MacKenzie Kirkbride!

The CKS middle school Sharks split their homecoming games with the Countryside Christian Minutemen. The MS girls fell 24-13 but the MS boys dominated in their game, winning 35-19. Homecoming marks the end of the season for the middle school teams.

However, the varsity teams have a few more games before the playoffs begin.

On Tuesday, the Sharks will travel to Dixie County for non-conference games at 5:30 and 7. The Sharks will be back at home Thursday to host Bell at 5:30 and will host Union County in rare Saturday night games at 5:30 and 7. Saturday night  will also be Senior Night, a chance to honor the seniors who will be graduating in just a few months.
