Missing Dog Update: TASHA IS HOME!

Missing Dog Update: TASHA IS HOME!

Tasha Dog is home!

Oliver Bauer of Faraway Inn took one of his stray adopted dogs Shunka with him to help find Tasha. Find her they did! After a two day scare she was found in a ditch along a dense grove of woods along Hwy 24. She is alive, hungry and happy to be home.

Tasha was originally found as a puppy in a ditch barely alive by Nancy Stephens of Deja Vu and her mom about 2 years ago. After they nursed the dog back to health she was permanently adopted by Steve Pratt and Ginny Lenorman of Cedar Key.
.
The $100 reward is being donated to the TNR program. Tasha will receive $25 to put towards her favorite special treats.

Thank you to everyone who helped search for Tasha dog. We are forever thankful for all the kindness of everyone in the community.

Update: A reward of $100 has been offered for the return of Tasha, who was seen at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening running on S.R. 24 in the vicinity of the Blue Desert/Cedar Closet/Oak Street, dragging her retractable leash behind her.

Tasha was last seen at the Faraway Inn at 5 p.m. Saturday (4-10), when she bolted after being frightened by a loud noise. She ran in the direction of 3rd Street and State Road 24. She had a retractable leash attached to her collar, but it may be missing. She is VERY timid. Tags are attached to her collar.
