SEAFOOD FESTIVAL PARADE CANCELLED…FESTIVAL IS ON!

Because of the rain, wind, and the parade route along low-lying sections Gulf Blvd and 1st Street that are subject to possible flooding this weekend, the Seafood Festival Parade has been cancelled for this year.
The Seafood Festival itself is still on, although a bit curtailed, with vendor tent setup in the streets delayed until Saturday because of the high winds forecast for Friday evening.
The city is monitoring the weather and public safety situation and will update us tomorrow morning with the latest weather forecast.
